The Studio A Dance Company is a great opportunity for dancers who want to take dance to the next level. Our team values dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, community outreach, fostering a love for dance, and fun! Being a part of the Studio A company builds confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, discipline, and leadership, along with lifelong friendships and memories!

 

Acceptance into our nationally ranked Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and/or Ballet companies is on an audition basis, with auditions being held in June and August.  We perform and compete both regionally and nationally, and have won numerous awards at competitions for outstanding technique, performance, sportsmanship, choreography and team spirit. Dancers train year round, taking a variety of technique/conditioning classes as well as weekly rehearsals, and the competition season runs February-July. Our dancers also have the opportunity to work with professional choreographers and master teachers!

 

Many of our alums have been accepted into prestigious dance colleges including Boston Conservatory, Chapman, CalArts, LMU, Point Park University, University of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and Long Beach State, as well as been accepted onto their college Dance Teams, and many have gone on to pursue a career in the arts.

Our next round of Company Auditions for our 2026/2027 Competition Team will be held on Saturday June 6th. Registration is now open and the time/genre breakdown is below. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call the office!
