What is Showcase?

The Studio A Showcase is an end of the year performance open to all enrolled students. This is not a mandatory performance, but all dancers are encouraged and welcome to perform! This year, the show will be entitled "All That Jazz!"

Date and Location

​

"All That Jazz" will be three different performances held in the Hillcrest Shopping Center parking lot the weekend of June 18-20. The performances will be held from 5:00-6:30 each night. Each class will perform in one show. Show orders will be released soon.

Ticket Sales

​

Tickets will go on sale starting in May. You do not need to purchase a ticket for the dancer in the show. If a child or family member will be sitting in someone's lap, they do not need a ticket either. 

​

Costumes

​

Teachers are in the process of deciding costumes now. All dancers will be measured, and your costume payment will be posted to your account once they are ordered. Once costumes arrive, you will receive an information sheet with tight colors, shoes, and any accessories that go with your costume. Costumes are not to be worn before the performance, aside from Picture Day and Dress Rehearsal.

Picture Day

​

Memory Makers picture company will be at the Studio on ??? to take pictures of your dancers. A schedule of picture times will be released in May, along with package options and prices.

Dress Rehearsal

​

Dress Rehearsal will be held the week of June 12-18th AT THE STUDIO. All dancers will be required to attend class in full hair and costumes as a practice run for the show. All female dancers will be required to wear a slicked back bun for the show. Below is a link to a bun tutorial!
